Lamborghini Wine launches in Australia

While luxury Italian sports cars are the first thing that comes to mind when speaking of Lamborghini, the company’s founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini, had a second passion.

Five years after the successful launch of Automobili Lamborghini in 1963, Ferruccio purchased a plot of land in Umbria and established a vineyard that when on to produce its first fruits in 1975. The central Italian region is bordered by Tuscany, Lazio and Marche, and is known for producing a large number of grape varietals throughout the undulating lands, particularly mineral whites that mature with elegance – and Lamborgini Wine is no exception.

Daughter of the legendary founder, Patrizia Lamborghini, is passionate about the success of the winery and says that the link with the land connects her to her father. “From these vines, my father’s name lives on. I believe he would be so proud to see what we have produced,” said Ms Lamborghini. “Already having a presence in America, UK and Europe, we are so pleased to be bringing Lamborghini Wine to Australia.”

Exclusive importer and distributor of Lamborghini Wines Australia and founder of Bon Vivant Global, Matt Hanson, says this is exactly what Australia has been waiting for. “A Lamborghini Wine offers the highest quality produce paired with an exhilarating and unique customer experience,” Mr Hanson said.
