Sakura Tea Party
Every Saturday from 2 pm to 4 pm until Saturday, 14 of October, the Sakura Tea Party will take place in Solander. Inspired by the beautiful Sakura (cherry blossom) trees in bloom around Sydney, Solander Dining and Bar is adorned with beautiful pink florals.
Priced at $65 per person, the Sakura Tea Party includes head chef Joel Robinson’s unique take on the classic High Tea. Indulge in a tiered selection of both sweet and savoury snacks such as poached prawn fennel and spiced mayo buns; saffron and buffalo mozzarella arancini; salted caramel mini eclairs and assorted macarons.
To complement these delights, the Sakura Tea Party includes a welcome sakura-themed cocktail drink. For $20 extra, guests can also enjoy bottomless house and sparkling and beer.
Afternoon Tea Party
From 21 October to 11 November, the Sakura Tea Party will transform into an Afternoon Tea Party. Priced at $65 per person, the Afternoon Tea Party will feature a tiered selection of pastries and savoury bites accompanied by a signature Solander cocktail. Guests also have the option to add on bottomless house and sparkling wine and beer for $20. The Afternoon Tea Party will run until 11 November.

2023 Melbourne Cup
Solander Dining and Bar will celebrate the 2023 Melbourne Cup with a special three-course menu on Tuesday 7 November. Priced at $130 per person, the package includes either a glass of bubbles or beer and an Australian cheese board on arrival; four shared starters and your choice from one of Solander Dining and Bar’s delicious mains.
The race will be broadcast on large TV screens in Solander Dining and Bar and there will be some exciting prizes to be won that include an overnight stay with breakfast at West Hotel Sydney for 2 people, $100 dining credit at Solander Dining and Bar and additional prizes for best dressed.

The unique cocktail selection takes inspiration from Daniel Solander, a naturalist and the first botanist to set foot on Australian soil.
