With just 11 rooms effortlessly blending heritage features with contemporary flourishes – from opulent textiles to boutique beds, handmade and bespoke to the hotel – it’s the very best in Tasmanian accommodation.

All guest suites include a luscious king-sized bed, a hot breakfast, unlimited barista coffee and loose tea for the duration of your stay, secure off-street parking, as well as Wi-Fi and an iPad for your convenience.

Delightful dining

You’ll feast on locally, ethically and sustainably sourced produce, foraged from the coastal seas, lush paddocks and surrounding forests. Sample freshly made bread and pastries, as well as a four-course tasting menu, come dinner time.

From the Chef’s Selection, you can expect seared scallops with heirloom beetroot, and chilli jam; Cape Grimm beef cheek and cygnet mushroom pithivier served with king oyster mushroom. Finish with a peach tarte tatin, with dehydrated strawberry, meringue crumble and vanilla bean ice cream.

When you’re not relaxing in your room, delve into the sumptuous shared spaces of the beautifully appointed Rose and Morning rooms and the tranquil Library. Or, take a stroll around the established heritage gardens and sun-soaked terraces.
