Moët Hennessy opens Cravan, a new cocktail lounge in Paris

Tucked away in Paris’ Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the opulent interiors and inspired libations of Cravan celebrate the French art de vivre.

CRAVAN is the latest luxury hospitality venture from Moët Hennessy, located in the heart of the iconic literary district of Paris’ Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Guided by the concept of French art de vivre, Caravan is spread across five floors within a 17th-century Parisian building.

The interior design was overseen by Belgian designer, Ramy Fischler, and takes inspiration from art, fashion, cinema and literature. The first four floors are occupied by three cocktail bars and a Rizzoli bookstore curated by Cravan. The top floors hide away an invitation-only private atelier, while a mini Parisian kiosk is perched upon the building’s rooftop, where movies will be screened on warm summer nights. Guests can expect to encounter iconic tipples such as Dom Perignon, Veuve Clicquot, Armand de Brignac, and Moët & Chandon, among others.

Cravan by Moët Hennessy

Cravan is the result of an unexpected encounter and alliance between Moët Hennessy and historian-turned-restaurateur and cocktail expert, Franck Audoux, who is the founder and artistic director of Cravan. Audoux brings his knowledge of the Parisian hospitality scene and unique approach to cocktail making, both scientific and poetic, while Moët Hennessy shares its extensive experience of luxury art de vivre and world-renowned wines and spirits.

“It is with great pride that we open today the doors of Cravan, bringing to life Moët Hennessy’s mission: crafting experiences. I am delighted to start welcoming our guests at the heart of historical literary neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, inviting them to step into the unique and singular universe of Cravan,” said Philippe Schaus, chairman and CEO of Moët Hennessy. “Celebrating epicureanism through a sustainable, lasting and inspired approach of hospitality, Cravan is a strategic milestone in Moët Hennessy’s ambition to lead the future of luxury wines and spirits.”

Find Cravan by Moët Hennessy at 165 boulevard Saint-Germain, Paris 6e. Open Tuesay-Saturday from 5 pm to 2 am.
